How to get a firearm licence in South Africa? This is an increasingly common question South Africans are asking every day. There are still persons who will steer away and say it is the root of crime in South Africa. Benefits of doing the combination module include Saving money, saving a lot of time, A lot less writing. You get training on four firearm types all inclusive (workbooks, open book tests, closed book tests, firearm use, range fees and ammo).

You can purchase your books from us at any time, complete the open book tests at home in your own time, then make a date to come do the closed book tests and the shoot. Your results will then be uploaded onto the PFTC and within approximately a week, you will get your certificate and statement of results.

Step 2: Competency

All you need to do is provide us with some info on our mandate for competency application and upon completion to collect a file containing your entire application pack. (Standard fee for Competency Application as per current pricelist apply)

Once you have your certificate and statement of results, you use certified copies of these to apply at SAPS for your competency certificate. We can assist to compile your entire competency application pack.

Step 3: – Licensing

As soon as you have received your competency certificate from SAPS you may apply for your firearm license. We are able to compile your entire firearm Licence application pack.
