This course is a refresher course for security personnel. The purpose of this course is to ensure that security officers issued with firearms undergo at least one proper practical training and theoretical briefing session every 12 months.

This course focuses on generic tactics that are applicable to handguns, shotguns and rifles.
On this course, you will learn about shooting while moving, working as a member of a tactical team, dynamic room entry and the correct procedures for clearing difficult areas such as stairwells.

Duration: The four tactical unit standards are usually run on one course. The duration of the full tactical course is ten days.
Tactical Range Officer can be added onto the tactical program for candidates who wish to complete this unit standard.
This course focuses on the use of firearms in high-risk situations and under extreme stress.
One needs to be in reasonably good physical condition to enrol on this course.
This course will teach you how to win a gun fight. You require 200 rounds of ammunition for this course.

Intermediate Shotgun and Apply Tactical Knowledge in the Use of Firearms.
This course is not for beginners!
Duration: The four tactical unit standards are usually run on one course. The duration of the full tactical course is Ten days.
This course focuses on the use of firearms in high-risk situations and under extreme stress.
One needs to be in reasonably good physical condition to enrol on this course.
This course will teach you how to win a gun fight. You will require 400 rounds of ammunition for this course.
